Online Worship

City of Edinburgh Methodist Church live stream Sunday morning worship at 11am, on their YouTube channel. All are welcome to join.

Livingston United Parish Church offers live worship every Sunday at 10.30am via Zoom, plus a range of other activities online. For more information please visit Livingston United Parish Church Facebook page.

Stirling Methodist Church also offer worship every Sunday at 10.30am via Zoom. If you would like to join them please email Jon for instruction on how to link to the service.

St Anne’s Scottish Episcopal and Methodist Church in Dunbar, offer worship services via Zoom. Details are available via their website.

Venture FX Inverness Pioneer, Dave Saunders is hosting a series of online conversations connected to issues of faith and everyday life raised by the current pandemic. To watch the conversations, visit Kyrios – Home for the Curious.

A range of other useful worship resources (including traditional, contemporary and family friendly materials) and links to other services are available from the District website and from the Methodist Church in Britain website.

A free phone service to hear prayers and news from the Methodist Church is also now available – with the service being updated every Thursday evening.

A Sermon for Every Sunday – An USA website, this offers lectionary based sermons from different denominations, including Methodist and Episcopal.

Morning Prayer from the Iona Community – written liturgy available via their website.

Evening Prayer from the Taize Community – broadcast on their Facebook page at 7.30pm each day.

Sanctuary First – a pioneer ministry in Scotland that offers daily worship, short films and podcasts.

Pray As You Go – daily reflections in the Ignatian tradition, plus special series of prayers for specific circumstances.

Take Time – offers meditations based on the stories of Jesus and the Ignatian tradition.

TV and Radio

Radio Scotland will broadcast New Every Sunday at 7.30am each Sunday, and will be available to listen to on BBC Sounds afterwards.

BBC Scotland host The Service at 12 noon, and will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer afterwards.

Radio 4 will broadcast Sunday Worship at 8.10am each Sunday, and will be available to listen to on BBC Sounds afterwards.

Radio 4 LW will broadcast the Daily Service at 9.45am each weekday, and will be available to listen to on BBC Sounds afterwards.

Premier Christian Radio and UCB Radio offer Christian based programmes throughout the day. You can listen to these live and afterwards via their websites.
